If Broncos head coach John Fox knows who will start tomorrow night's preseason finale against the Arizona Cardinals, he's not telling.
The head coach said it will be a game-time decision on whether Brady Quinn or Tim Tebow will start the game. In all likelihood, starter Kyle Orton will not play in order to keep him healthy for the Sept. 12 regular-season opener with Oakland.
"I don't want to send any messages to the Arizona Cardinals, so we'll keep that in house until we go out on the field," Fox said.
Fox noted that he's seen progress in both Tebow and Quinn during the preseason, but he's also seen improvement across the board. In other words, he wasn't tipping his hand one way or the other.
"People have gotten better and I think as a football team we've gotten better, and that's my job as a head coach and my staffs' jobs as assistant coaches," Fox said.
